REAP Food for Thought – Part II

Wow! Thanks to Stephanie and all the wonderful people at REAP Calgary for staging an amazing event this past Sunday! Great seeing you out there, and meeting new friends.

Tea Factory at REAP Food For Thought 2014A good crowd was on hand and everyone seemed receptive to our minty caffeine-free Razzle Dazzle herbal blend and strawberry guayasa Happy Tea.

Some standouts for us:

Stunning raw Pad Thai with beets from Yummi Yogis, sausage rolls from MacEwans Meats & Meat Pies, smoked butter from downtownfood & Highwood Crossing, we had a great chat with Grow Calgary, and our booth neighbours Farm On.

All the food was delicious and we are working toward having more good food news for you in the coming weeks.

We were especially moved by Judy Wicks‘ presentation and inspiring story concerning the deep connections between economy, ecology, and social justice, which is something to which we can all aspire. She has a book, in case you weren’t there.
